Rick Keller, B.Sc., CPA, CMA
Rick obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in 1982 from Arizona State University. After graduation Rick went on to work in Washington, DC, as a legislative aid for Senator Barry Goldwater. Once the Senator retired, Rick entered in to the business world, working for a large Arabian horse farm in Scottsdale, AZ as the General Manager and acting as a lobbyist for the different horse farms in the area. This would eventually open up an opportunity to do contract factoring in Arizona and California.
Rick moved back to Canada in the mid 80's and began articling with a local CA firm in 1989 and moved to a national firm in 1990. By 1995, Rick became the controller for one of the largest public manufacturing companies in the Okanagan for two years. It was at this point that Rick opened his own accounting practice in the West Kelowna area and has been in practice here for over 22 years.
Rick's involvement in the community and charities has spanned over 30 years. He has coached football at the minor, high school and Junior levels, he was a scout leader with the Boy Scouts of Canada for over 5 years, he has volunteered for over a decade sitting on different boards for non profit, and has raised over $15,000 for Diabetes.
With Rick's diverse background in accounting and business, he has been able to provide his clients with professional accounting and tax related services, in addition, many of his clients have benefited from his expertise in strategic business planning to help them grow and be successful. Furthermore, through having such a diverse background with varying life experiences Rick and the rest of the Executive Accounting practice are able to provide a more personal approach to the business.
